There comes a time in life where you begin to think outside of yourself and begin to notice the people around you. But, to get to that place you must first love and respect yourself. Why? Because when you can do that, you can then love and respect others. In accepting all aspects of yourself, you can also accept all aspects of another.
Peace on earth cannot come until you accept your differences, not as something that must be controlled or changed but as something to embrace.
Your have an opportunity now to accept difference in a new way. Not to control others to change to suit you, but to see them fully and accept their difference to you.
For so many millennium people have been 'told' how they must behave and who / what they 'should' be.
People have learnt throughout the ages to just accept from the top down. Governments, religious, parents, teachers, others who all have their own agendas to suit them not you.
Have you ever laid down in the sun and just wondered who you would be without all of their interference in your life? By this we mean have you ever wondered who you would have become if you didn't take on the things they told you, you had to be. Think school teachers, friends, parents, religion, work bosses and partners in relationships? They have taught you who you are. Because through their discipline or disapproval you have learnt how to behave to be liked or loved.
You likely learnt you couldn't be yourself sometimes. However, you have a right to be free of the shackles of 'beliefs' that no longer serve you.
What you have learnt that gets in your way, needs to be reassessed and determined if it should be kept as one of your core beliefs or let go so that other more freeing beliefs can take their place.
This is the awakening, you are awakening from the mass consciousness and thinking for yourself.
