The essential oil diffuser jewellery Varrsha makes, is made of natural terracotta from Australian earth which is fired in the kiln. 

Purpose of firing the terracotta:

In markets Varrsha sees people selling airdry clay terracotta diffuser pendants and she also see videos about DIY terracotta diffuser pendants. But these don't actually solve the purpose.

The terracotta jewellery Varrsha makes is designed on a wet slab of terracotta clay & is fired in a special kind of oven called "Kiln" at a very high temperature (around 1000degC) .

This process  is crucial as it creates airpockets on the surface of the terracotta pieces in other words it makes the terracotta pieces highly porous and sturdy. The fired terracotta piece is nothing but an earthernware. This porous nature , allows the terracotta pieces to absorb the essential oil in it and diffuses gradually from it. As firing is not done in airdry clay terracotta diffuser pendants, it can't absorb the oil completely and diffuse it . Also the airdry clay pendants are not sturdy and tend to break in due course.

How to Use your pendant diffuser:

To use, just place 1 or 2 drops of essential oil such as doterra oil on the back of the pendant. Allow to dry for about one minute before wearing. You may choose a different oil each day, if you wish. As a drop of oil stays for more than a day, when you put the second oil, just wait for the first oil to completely diffuse or create a new one as all of these blend so well.

Express yourself to self-heal

If you truly want to self-heal,  you must dig deep and find the underlying 'hidden' hurts that have been locked away in the subconscious mind. We often suffer  because we don't know how to deal with something and so we store it away to be dealt with later. By suppressing our hurtful feelings and experiences, we do not finish the process of relieving ourselves from the pain and the hurt.

Over time it is these things that come back to haunt us. Our bodies cry out to be heard. We want release. But, because we have hidden these things, or suppressed them,  we forget how to access the hurt and the pain. However, our bodies are acutely aware that we are trying to suppress certain memories and our intuition will try hard to bring these memories to the surface for healing. These memories are usually in our subconscious mind and often long forgotten as most of these hurtful experiences occur in our 0 - 20 years.

The subconscious mind is like a computer, running the program of our life, therefore we need to be sure that it is working for us and not against us. For example, if you had a very painful experience, eg laughed at at school for saying the wrong answer or giving a speech and being laughed at, your mind will work very hard to prevent you being in a similar situations,  if you haven't processed that hurt. Now this may seem like a small thing, however if you have to give a presentation at work, the fear of being laughed at may surface and be strong enough for you to try and avoid giving a presentation.

For over 25  years I worked with clients who were hurting in one way or another. The symptoms that they presented were just that, symptoms. Symptoms of long, forgotten hurt and pain from experiences that were never processed; coming out in their mental or physical health as dis-ease.

Hurtful memories, life experiences, other people's words and our own distorted beliefs can lead to mental and physical illness. People very often miss the connection between a hurtful experience and the ramifications of doing nothing to address the hurt. If you stifle the hurt or do not express the hurt it has an affect on your body. In essence, your body is energy and that energy needs to flow. Years of experience working with people through using Reiki energy and hypnotherapy has taught me, that people who hurt have very different energy to those that do not hurt.

For example, through reiki, I can zoom in on a person's throat, and feel that the energy there is not right. What I find when I do this and discuss it with the person is that they cannot speak up for themselves, they cannot voice what bothers them. Over time, these are the people who experience lots of colds, coughs and worse illnesses if they do not learn to voice their thoughts. If they are unable to voice their thoughts, they  very often get angry with themselves, because whilst they would like to speak up, they think they can't, and they turn their anger inward, berating themselves for not being able to do so.

In these cases, I would ask people to 'pretend' we were doing a drama, and I would pretend to be the person they wanted to voice themselves to. I would say to them, 'pretend', just for a moment that I am the person you are so angry and annoyed with, and let me have it. Give me your best shot; tell me why you are so angry. They would try to voice their anger, some quite well, others timidly. Then I would get to the real deal, I would ask them to look beyond the anger at the hurt.  I would say to them, "OK, now tell me why you are feeling so hurt?" Tears would fall as they expressed themselves to me, about why they felt so hurt, or betrayed, or unloved... and this is what leads to healing and getting the energy to flow. It is the opening up of themselves that frees all of the pent up, withheld energy that may have been there for many, many years. Once you release this energy, you cannot ever experience it again the same way. It will be gone. Pent up energy released and replaced with the ability to speak up more easily.

You cannot withhold energy  tightly and hope to be healthy and well. Energy must flow.

The selecting, brewing and enjoying a cup of herbal tea can be such a deeply healing, meditative and transformative process. In cultures around the world there are so many traditions centred on the making and consumption of tea. In the modern day you can recreate these practices and tap into its power and potential.

Here are a few ideas about transforming your herbal tea sipping experience into something with greater potential for healing, contemplation, empowerment, inspiration and peace.

The Power of Ritual

Ritual is anything we do with higher intention. It is action taken to invoke a response from our lives, and it can be as simple as preparing a cup of your favourite herbal tea. When we create ritual in our lives, we are getting intentional about the everyday things we do so that they can become transformative. When we act mindlessly we don’t maintain control over the situation. When we act with mindfulness, which comes naturally in a ritual setting, we get to consciously choose from a place of power what kind of energies, thoughts, beliefs, and ideals we want to participate in.

The Ritual of Tea

Herbal tea makes a great action for ritual because it has some essential ingredients: calmness, healing, mindfulness, sensory experience and it is personal. When we brew herbal tea we are blending the experience of our favourite or most needed herbs, what we enjoy drinking and how we enjoy drinking it. Whether you are drinking the tea on your own or with someone else, the personal connection that this cultivates makes it very powerful and ensures that it goes to the deepest part of our being.

Inspiration

Here are some simple, fun, and effective things you can do to create a beautiful herbal tea ritual for yourself…

Set your intention, meditate or bless the herbs you’ll use in your tea. Infuse them with good energy and lots of positive thoughts.

Grid your kitchen with crystals to keep the positive energy going.

Use your herbs to draw a design on your counter top before you add them to your hot water. You could create a dollar sign for abundance, a heart for love, a smile for joy, or a stick figure for health.

While your herbal tea is brewing, gaze at your reflection on the surface of the water, try to see yourself happy, healthy, abundant, and blessed. Once you have a good image of yourself in these positive ways, begin sipping the tea to take it all in.

Say a positive affirmation over your tea before you take each sip. When you drink, you will be adding a physical action to the affirmation which helps it sink in faster.

Say ‘thank you’ to the herbs, the process, the Earth, and the Sky – all important parts of the healing tea experience, before you drink. Gratitude always switches the energy up in a good way!

If you know someone who is sick, stressed, or just in need of some extra love, take a few sips for them as a prayer and a blessing. The energy will make its way into their lives!

Herbal tea is a healing drink on its own, but connecting over your cup of tea into a moment of peace and appreciation enhances its benefits. Consider these words

a New Consciousness  for a new earth

Every day is new. New days brings both uncertainty and potential. How do you get to the potential without letting the unknown scare you away?

​Getting past “I don’t know”!
​

I hear “I don’t know” a LOT from people. And there is a good reason. We’re creating a whole new conscious Earth. That’s never been seen before. The old ways are no longer working and the new… well; let’s say it hasn’t shown itself yet. You don’t have any idea of how it will affect you or how it works. We’re literally creating it as we live it and that’s why it feels so scary, so uncertain. Every part of life is changing faster than it ever did. Yet we’ve been preparing for this for thousands of years. You chose to be here now so you could be part of it.

All you need now is to get over yourself by discovering ways forward. There are different “rules” to this new game of life, so that’s actually a good place to start because everything comes to you rather than you moving in any direction. That’s important to remember for remaining present and at the centre of your life. 

But this blog is about getting through the change, going beyond the known and finding ways to create your life through the unknown.

First you need to stop scaring yourself. Turn your thoughts from what could go wrong to the awe and wonder of the possibilities out there. And YES, they are there for YOU too. 

Old consciousness meant looking for potential risks and problems so you could fix or avoid them. We had to work hard to succeed. This has absolutely no place in the new, which is about engaging the life force energy all around you to deliberately and directly creating what brings you joy or bliss.

Open to deserving, let yourself have it all! You are a divine being, a wonderful creator. You just currently have your creatorship set to “safety”. It’s time to re-set it to bliss, or joy, or happiness. Or even begin with contentment. However much you can handle. Just turn away from struggle and hard work. Please…

No one else can do this for you, and it is a moment by moment thing. AWARENESS is the key. Once you notice, you have the power of choice. When you hear yourself saying something discouraging… choose to stop and even replace those words. Ask yourself “will this bring me to joy?”  And do something differently… right there in the moment…. “I choose joy” or “I wonder what might bring me more joy?”

Notice when you’re feeling anxious, frightened or uncertain and take a moment to nurture and support yourself. I imagine myself talking to a frightened child that needs reassurance from me. It is natural to be frightened and it will stop you… distraction, drama, accidents and injuries are all from that part of you that is frightened to move into the unknown. Fear has been your safety mechanism for thousands of years in the old consciousness. You are the only one who can feel it within you and address it before it sabotages your life. Your strength is in your ability to realize and choose anew.

That leads me to connecting with your feelings. The mind was your best friend in the old ways but your feelings, body sensations and love is what will carry you to the joyous new life you desire. Give yourself a moment (or as long as it takes) to “feel into” a situation or decision before you make it. YOU know yourself best and YOU know deep down what you desire so it makes sense to connect these two within you. 

Stop searching for the answers, looking for the secret and trying to be better. Relax, nurture yourself. You’ve got this! And you are loved beyond measure, supported in every moment and are never alone. Notice the difference we’re making together.

Besides the spiritual support, there are millions of other humans, just like you who are choosing to step into the new. To get past the uncertainty and guide themselves to the new consciousness, the new Earth, so we can finally live in peace and harmony on our beautiful planet. You are part of a network of lightworkers, creators and new consciousness beings awakening to your purpose. 

Take comfort from that and come join us on the flip side of “I don’t know” because we’re creating bliss through powerful creative choices. Welcome dear one, welcome home.

Meditation has become popular because it promotes optimal health, gives the body a profound rest, dissipates stress, sifts through your mind traffic, helps you to think ahead and keeps you organised.

Meditation looks after your body: Every cell in your body has a certain vibrational frequency for good health and vitality. Fear, anger, hostility, etc can cause the vibrational energy in your body to alter - to move toward disharmony or dis-ease. Meditation helps you to return to the vibrational frequencies of harmony and health. The daily practice of meditation will move you away from the harsher emotions of hate, bitterness, spite, and frustration and towards the more gentler emotions of love, compassion, and kindness.

Meditation can help you to unravel problems and find solutions by accessing your creative and/or intuitive self. Meditation can bring you a new level of living and a new experience of your own power; meditation can awaken a series of unexpected abilities to bring happiness and well-being into your life. The continual practice of meditation on a daily basis will bring peace and tranquillity into your life. When you are at peace with yourself and those around you then the world is a much happier place for everyone and goodwill towards all people becomes the logical result. When you reach a deep level of meditation you will begin to experience a deep calm, extraordinary personal power. It is a feeling of absolute peace, feeling centred, focused and clear with an ever deepening expression of strengthening self-love.

The experience of meditation varies with each person depending on their beliefs and attitudes. It must be remembered that if you were brought up in a happy environment that it will be easier for you to enter into a meditative state, but if you were brought up in a fearful environment it may take you longer, people who are fearful / critical are often cautious and therefore are not as willing to let go deeply. To meditate deeply you must let go of the need to analyse and question your experiences in meditation. If you analyse your meditation moment to moment, you will not drop into a deep meditative state. It is imperative that you let go of your need to control the process of meditation.

Meditation should be fun and effortless, look forward to your meditations as you would look forward to meeting an old friend. Let go of the need to control your meditation and allow yourself to just experience it moment to moment. Meditation begins by seeking refuge from stress and tension and ends with feelings of renewed strength, confidence and tranquillity. There are many forms of meditation, this is perhaps the simplest one for the novice.

Breath Meditation

Breath meditation is a very simple meditation that you can practice almost anywhere. Sit down in a comfortable position in your favourite armchair. Close your eyes and roll your shoulders backwards to open up your chest cavity. As you breathe in, imagine that you are breathing all the way down to just below your navel. As you breathe, your abdomen will start to expand and contract. If you find that your shoulders are rising and falling, put your hands on your navel and push your abdomen out and in with each breath, to get you into the habit of breathing deeply into your lungs. You may like to imagine, as you breathe in, an arrow pointing downwards until it reaches below your navel, and then turning around for its return journey, as you breathe out. Practice this breathing for twenty minutes a day to develop your meditation skills. Use the first ten minutes to write down your mind traffic and the second ten minutes to focus on your breathing and having a quiet mind. To release your mind traffic, have a pen and paper beside you and when a thought comes into your mind, write it down on the paper. If you need something to focus on, you can use the word calm or relax or let go on your outgoing breath. To finish your meditation, imagine that you are awakening from a wonderful sleep. Wriggle your toes, stretch, open your eyes and then return to your usual activities.

healing hatred....with love - author: arleen hanks

​You cannot heal what you hate. You cannot transform what you hate. The hatred becomes a consuming force – like a cancer - and consumes the energy to gather more of the same – becoming like a beast or monster inside you – feeding you emotions and thoughts that just keep on growing the thing.
In my studies in Psychophonetics (thanks to Yehuda Tagar, and Rudolph Steiner) – we learnt about the 3 beasts – of self-hatred, doubt and fear.

These things really are like beasts in that they are hideous, and scary and feed off our negativity.
To work with these beasties – you have to transform them and tame them. Often inside you will find a scared child, or a misunderstood aspect of yourself. Other times you find this is just old programming that you picked up as you were growing up and then brought into it and started to feed it, eventually believing that it was true.

Any story you tell yourself often enough becomes a truth. If you invest energy and time into it and focus on it – you will distort everything that comes your way in an effort to prove its validity and its truth… so no matter what someone tells you – you will turn that around and force it into fit your version of reality – your truth… and it will become very true and real for you.

Life is a series of stories that we tell ourselves… then we invest in them – we nurture them and grow them, and water them with more stories to form them into a reality…. But – this is what they are … a reality – not THE reality… they are a version of reality viewed through the filters of the stories we tell ourselves. Do any of us even know what THE reality is?  Is there one? Or is reality whatever we make of it through our own thoughts, feelings and beliefs?

So, if you are hating some aspect of yourself… what you are doing is feeding this beast called hatred. It’s a very strong emotion. If you continue to hate – you cannot heal. You have to transform this hatred into something else… you have to put your attend and your focus on other things until this energy is drained from the hatred.

Write down what it is you hate, or dislike about yourself. Let’s say, for example, its your weight.
The more you hate it – the more energy you give it – the more it grows – so no matter how many diets you try and potions you use – while you hate it – you are feeding the very thing you hate.
You will then not be able to shift the weight. Hatred is a very toxic emotion and toxicity gets sored in fat – so you can hate yourself into weight gain. Those very fat cells that you hate so much are saving your life by storing those very toxic emotions. Start to think about them differently… they are life savers… they are keeping you functioning until they can slowly release their toxic load, and then when no longer needed – they will dissipate. If they dumped their load all at once you would be very ill indeed. Thank you, fat cells, for keeping me alive and functioning!! Now let them get on and do their job and start to focus instead on things that you do like about yourself… you might have great eyes, or lovely feet. Your mind may be incredibly sharp, or you could be loving and a great friend.

List all the things about yourself which are good. Really take your time to appreciate these things.
Once you are feeling better about yourself – start to imagine the life you want to lead? Perhaps its about being fitter? So, take the attention away from the weight and rather into fitness. Feed your attention there instead. How will I feel when I am fitter? What will I be doing? Really go for it with your imagination – creating this idea of a different reality… see yourself perhaps going for daily walks, and feeling good as you do so… and while you are walking paying attention to the beauty around you and how that makes you feel. Now you are feeding a better version of yourself which serves you far more than beating yourself up. This will lead you to other things you want to do and can do – and it will result in a healthier happier you – which will also eventually result in weight loss – without that having been the primary intention any more.
You can do this same thing with anything else in life that you hate. Change your focus to what is working… build your energy up until you feel better about life in general… and keep it general…and then start asking yourself how you want things to be – getting a better vision… picking one aspect of that to start working towards... and naturally action will result that will lead you to this better space.

In some cases, you will find yourself being able to look deeper inside to the one who is hurting, and giving that self what he or she needs. Meet the unmet needs of this one and your problems will dissolve.
In other cases, you will realise that these feelings are based on judgements from others that you have brought into. In our world we are bombarded by profits and sales – so get told constantly that we are not good enough – and that to be loved and approved we need to wear certain things, look in specific ways etc etc... Here we are feeding the bank accounts of people who want to get rich on our insecurities!! There are some wonderful movements out there now exposing all of these things. Get inspired by them... look on you tube for inspiration and upliftment… open your eyes and check out – to whose standards am I judging myself by? Is this an advertising campaign? Is this the belief I want to pass onto my children? What is my own truth? There are counties in this world where woman are only viewed as beautiful if they are fat – and so the girls are sent to fat farms to fatten up so that they can become beautiful. Again – what are these ideas based on, and do we want to buy into them??

It’s always an investment, of energy, of money, of time etc. What you invest in – you get more of… so what do you want to get more of? If it makes you really feel good…not just on the surface, but deep inside – then chances are you are onto a good investment… but if not… then change your investment. Investment can be seen as focus. What you focus on – you get more of.

It comes down to this… if you want more of something – then focus and invest your attention onto it – however – if you don’t like it... then stop it. Just stop… look around for what you do like... and go in that direction. In the process of doing this you will automatically clean up your act and sort out what needs to be sorted out to get to where you really want to be… which for most of us… is happiness and love.

What are Spirit Guides?

Spirit guides are spiritual beings that are assigned to us before we are born that help nudge and guide us through life. They’re responsible for helping us fulfill the spiritual contract we make with ourselves before we incarnate. Your higher self helps select these guides, who help us while we are living out our incarnation.

Who are these guides?

Some guides will stay with you throughout your entire life, and others will pop in every now and again to help you with specific areas of your life or goals you are trying to achieve. These guides are at varying levels of consciousness themselves. Some may be highly ascended masters and others might be your average spirit who just happens to be a master in a certain area. They may appear to have a male or female energy, though in reality they are just energy. They may be spirits who have had physical incarnations, or they might be spirits who have never taken human form. Followers believe one spirit guide remains with a person throughout his entire life, while others come and go on special occasions to teach, to protect, to drive away negative energies or to bring joy. They might be deceased relatives, but that is less likely. When it’s time for your spirit guides to help you, they tune in to your energy and help direct you to fulfill your earthly mission.

Here are the 7 most common type of spirit guides we may meet in our lifetime or the next.

Gatekeeper Guide

The Gatekeeper Guide, sometimes called the Master Teacher Guide or Doorkeeper, is with a human being from birth to death. This guide inspires a person to help others and to keep on track toward personal life goals with pure and beneficial guidance.

This guide stands constantly at the energy gates of a person as protection against the negativity of the universe.

As main guide, the Gatekeeper Guide controls and monitors the other spirit guides who wish to work with a person. At the same time this spirit aids the individual to remain focused and grounded when working with other spirit guides.

Teacher Guide

A Teacher Guide inspires a person only at brief intervals during life. Guidance is given according to need regarding growth and spiritual development.

One Teacher Guide may work with the Gatekeeper Guides of many individuals, helping these people to develop compassion and moral sensitivity. Conversely, many Teacher Guides may help one person throughout life, each helping a person with a different aspect of her life.

Protector Guide

The job of a Protector Guide is to protect a human being whenever that person is in danger. This spirit guide is usually a large spirit with great strength and energy and always works in harmony with the Gatekeeper Guide.

Runner Guide

The Runner Guide is the spirit who connects human beings in dreams and at certain passionate moments with loved ones and missing items that are precious emotionally to the person.

This spirit guide comes and goes quickly, and can appear in visions or dreams. The appearance of this guide in dreams can be human in form, but this guide is most often clothed in the form of a spirit animal. It is this guide which presents itself during a session with a medium.

Helper Guide

The Helper Guide is present only in the direst moments in the life of a person. This guide is the medicine man or shaman, and his help and guidance are directed at the great stresses in a person’s life or with serious health problems.

Warrior Guide

The Warrior Guide is a warring guide whose role is to help a human being master fear and weakness. If a battle in any area of a person’s life needs to be fought, this guide will help.

Contrary to the other spirit guides, this one can lead a person into trouble and unnecessary battles. This guide must be followed with prudence and careful thought to ascertain whether the guidance is helpful.

Joy Guide

The job of the Joy Guide is to bring joy and happiness to a person at various times in her life, and to uplift s person's spirits when they sag.

This Natural Therapy page of definitions is set up to give you a good understanding of what the various natural therapy practitioners do. We are often asked at our fairs about the various modalities and thought it wise to share this with you. This list is by no means complete, and we will add to it as other therapists come on board our fairs, but in the meantime......

Acupuncture:
Using needles, acupuncture help to release blockages and subtle imbalances of energy which cause pain and disease.

Astrology:  The study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world.

Aura Photography: Aura photographs the energy around your body and then the photographer / psychic can do a reading based on the colours that present in the photograph.

Chinese Herbal Medicine: Herbal medicine traditionally involves the use of raw herbs steeped in hot water for a period of time, with the subsequent broth reduced to concentrate the active ingredients which is then consumed. While raw herbs continue to be used in contemporary practice, a range of other options for taking herbal medicine are also available.

Crystal Healing: Crystals contain energy vibrations and people are drawn to certain crystals, because of this. A crystal healing uses crystals over certain areas of the body to assist with creating balance and harmony in the body. Crystals are also used in rooms or cars, offices or carried on the body. 

Essential Oils: A natural oil typically obtained by distillation and having the characteristic scent of the plant or other source from which it is extracted. Essential oils can be used for a variety of emotional and physical conditions. They can be used as single essential oils or in  oil blends depending on what you need to experience and desired benefit. Essential oils can set the mood of a room through using a difuser.

Herbal Teas:  Each herbal tea is thoughtfully and therapeutically blended for taste, to create a positive experience which nourishes the palette as well as the spirit. The healing power of herbs helps to restore and bring our bodies back into balance.

Hypnotherapy: A way of accessing the subconscious mind to provide healing at very deep levels. Hypnotherapy is used to make changes, e.g. quit smoking, lose weight, develop confidence and motivation, visualise goals.

Iridology:  Diagnosis by examination of the iris of the eye.

Kinesiology: In the complementary health or natural medicine field, is  primarily used for muscle testing to identify imbalances in the body's structural, chemical, emotional or other energy, to establish the body's priority healing needs.

Life Coaching: Focus in on goal attainment and the steps to reach our goals. Also the coach will work with you to release / remove blocks to your goal fulfillment.

Meditation: Meditation is a tool to relax the body  and slow the thoughts down so that the body can have a profound rest. It is also useful for gaining greater clarity, tapping into your intuition and inner wisdom.

Naturopathy: Naturopathy is a therapy which focuses on the use of natural remedies such as herbs and foods to assist the body's natural ability to heal and maintain itself. Practitioners focus on a holistic approach and may also incorporate counselling as part of their treatment strategy.

Psychic Medium: A psychic medium is someone that can pick up your energy and the energy of passed loved ones and guides and relay this information to you.

Reiki: Practitioners of Reiki tap into the healing energy of the universal life force and channel the energy through their hands into the recipient. The laying on of hands may be felt as heat or warmth by the receiver. Reiki helps to balance and restore your body to optimal health and can be used to relax tight, sore muscles. 

Reflexology:  Reflexology is more than just a good foot massage, reflexology supports you to deeply relax and release physical and emotional stress. It brings about balance, ease and healing. For either preventative care or in response to physical or emotional distress, reflexology has been observed to create physical changes that can bring about balance, ease and healing.​ Reflexology improves circulation, calms the nervous system, boosts the lymphatics, improves energy levels, is beneficial for many chronic health conditions – asthma, arthritis, IBS, hormones, pain and stress management and complements medical treatments.

Quantified Mind Body Spirit: Everything in the universe is energy. Quantified Mind Body Spirit offers products and services that provide subtle energetic support and enhancement on all levels of the body, mind and soul.
